For years, the brothers of Sigma Nu Fraternity have been running the official Game Ball between Williams Brice Stadium and Death Valley for the annual clash on the gridiron. The 138 mile trek between the two stadiums has been the highlight of many footballs fans’ seasons over the past decades, and has played a crucial role in raising money for much needed research for MS.
This year, the Game Ball Run will be run on September 11 from Columbia, SC to Athens, GA for the annual USC-UGA game. The brothers from Delta chapter of USC and Mu chapter of UGA will be working together to complete the 160 mile trek.
The Game Ball Run and its members have raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for the research of Multiple Sclerosis or MS. There is no known cure for the disease, but research for a cure and the development of pharmaceuticals to treat patients and prolong life are ongoing. With the donations from events like the Game Ball Run, this research is able to continue. Please join the fight. Support the GBR!
